I, the undersigned, am participating in dog training. It is understood that I agree to be fully responsible for the actions of the dogs I own or have in my care, custody and control while on the property. I will leave the property immediately and will not participate in any dog training sessions if I do not agree to the terms of this release.
I recognize that dog training is inherently dangerous to attending dogs, dog handlers, helpers and spectators. I accept full responsibility for my own safety and the safety of my dog at any dog training sessions, and I assume all risks of participating in any dog training sessions, including, without limitation, all risks and danger inherent in a canine-oriented event (e.g., dog bites, fights or altercations, falls, contact with spectators or animals).
I release, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue Howl Hundesport Club, and its owners, officers, agents, employees, and contractors and the property owners where these dog training sessions are held (together, the “Released Parties”), from or for any liability, claims, expenses (including attorney fees), or damages arising from my or my dog’s participation in any dog training sessions(together, “Claims”), including Claims arising from the fault or negligence of the Released Parties, and Claims for loss, injury, death, and property damage. I will be fully responsible for, and will indemnify the Released Parties against, all Claims asserted by third parties arising from or relating to my or my dog’s participation in the event.
The dog training sessions will be held at the property of 9014 Quail Valley Dr, Redding, California. Howl Hundesport Club has my permission for its representatives to take and use photographs, videotapes and other recordings of the training sessions and activities involving myself or my dog(s) for any lawful purpose without compensation. I agree to abide by Howl Hundesport Club rules.
Howl Hundesport Club and property owners will not be responsible for loss or damage of property including vehicles and content, equipment, cameras and valuables in the case of loss damage, vandalism or theft that may occur during any training sessions.
In case of emergency, Howl Hundesport may in its sole discretion authorize medical treatment for me or my dogs, or dogs in my care, custody and control.
I acknowledge that this release is governed by California law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provisions are found to be unenforceable, the remainder will be enforced as fully as possible and the unenforceable provisions will be deemed modified to permit enforcement of the release as a whole. Jurisdiction and venue for any dispute arising under this release will be in Redding, California.
